Our Story
Ready Study Go was founded in 2005 by Suyan Soni at Cerritos Elementary School. As a parent of three children, Suyan saw the need for a program that would support students in completing homework and created our Homework Assistance Program. It was an immediate success, and we soon introduced our Subject Tutoring Program at the request of our families. Over the years, Ready Study Go grew adding new programs, private tutoring, and even a second location at Elliott Elementary.
In 2019, the program passed into the hands of Karyn Keene, an experienced educator and entrepreneur. Under her leadership, the program has continued to expand not only through new programs (like our first Honors Academy with Socratic Honors) but through an extensive reworking of the curriculum to better help our students meet Common Core standards.
When the schools moved online in response to COVID-19, Ready Study Go was one of the first in the state to transition their services online and were open and helping students just 4 days after the closures. Moving online allowed us to reach even more students and now that we are open again in-person, our Online Academy will be a permanent fixture of RSG serving students all across the nation.

Meet Our Director
Karyn Keene began her career in education as an Honors English & History teacher at a co-op High School and as an Elective teacher for Middle and Elementary students teaching Spanish, Creative Writing, STEM Clubs, and more! In 2015, she partnered with Biola University’s Youth Academics program to develop and launch an Elementary Academy. Brought in as their Math and English specialist, she oversaw the development and implementation of Math and English programs for grades 1-6 at three different school sites.
In addition to working as an educator, Karyn also has extensive experience in digital marketing. Hired as a project manager at a web development firm, she learned everything she could about digital strategy, branding, and management skills. While working there, she taught herself to code and struck out on her own as a freelance web designer and developer. Today she runs Keene Web Design, where she helps small business owners find online success through branding, web design, and digital advertising.
“I’m very excited about the opportunities here at RSG. The tutors who work in this program are driven, passionate, intelligent, and fun-loving – the perfect combination to help instill students with a life-long love for learning. And with their support, the experience of our supervisors, and input from parents – I know we can strengthen what’s great about this program and expand to give our students even more opportunities to learn and grow.”
